Peter Cleary

Peter Cleary graduated from Brown University with a degree in geology, and he will complete a master's in environmental science at the University of Virginia in May. He has written science articles for the University of Virginia student newspaper, The Cavalier Daily, on topics ranging from prehistoric weather records to intergalactic cannibalism. After completing Poynter's Reporting and Writing Fellowship program, Peter hopes to blend his scientific knowledge with his penchant for reporting and find a job as a science or environmental reporter.
