I was born and raised in the north-east of England,and I have studied at Newcastle College of Art & Design for the last four years. I have just most recently graduated with a HND in Newspaper Design & Information Graphics.
I love graphic design but feel learning all elements and software is almost essential to try and separate myself from the competition, so I thoroughly enjoy illustration in my free time, and try to incorporate these pieces to final designs later on.
Also learning digital cameras and interactive software has helped me build my website.
A big part of my life is live music, which is where I feel most at home at a gig back home in Newcastle, and this reflects in most of my personal design.
After Poynter I hope to gain employment as soon as possible in The States at a magazine or newspaper. |
