Arin Gencer graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., with a degree in Political Science and Journalism. She is originally from Dallas, Tex., but now lives in Houston. Over the last three years she reported and edited for the campus newspaper, The Emory Wheel. During the summer of 2002, she worked as an editorial writer and metro news reporter at The Austin American-Statesman. Arin hopes to eventually become a foreign correspondent, but
would also like the challenge of general assignment reporting or covering ethnic communities. |
