Photos: Artist Seeks to Create New Portrait of South St. Petersburg

Herbert Davis draws in his studio inside Salt Creek Artworks, 1600 Fourth St. S., on July 6. Davis, who has been an artist for 10 years, spends eight to 12 hours a day working on his art. He will begin painting a mural on the entrance to the Royal Theatre, on 22nd Street South, this weekend.
