Elizabeth Carr graduated in May from Simmons College in Boston, Mass. She is interested in feature writing and improving the way reporters approach the people they interview. Elizabeth interned at The Boston Globe for six months and The Virginian-Pilot in Norfolk, Va., last summer. She has also written pieces for Glamour magazine, the American Infertility Association Journal, and a forward to a Facts on File book. She loves rock climbing and rowing and is always looking for an adventure. After the fellowship, she will continue on at Poynter as a writer, producer and reporter for Poynter Online. |
