Keri Wiginton was born in Cairo, Georgia. After high school, she enrolled at the University of Georgia in Athens where she graduated in December 2003 with a degree in magazines with an emphasis in photojournalism and a minor in psychology. She has interned as a photographer with Patuxent Publishing Company in Maryland, the York Dispatch/Sunday News in Pennsylvania, and has worked as a staff photographer and photo editor of the Red and Black, the University of Georgia's student-run daily. In the future, Keri wants to work for a large newspaper publication, or a wire service, covering international issues. |
