Hello. I'm a 22-year old Southern Californian. I graduated with a B.A. in journalism from the University of La Verne in May of 2003. In June, I packed up my Jeep Wrangler and traveled east to start the MS photography program at Syracuse University. I've worked several freelance jobs for daily metro newspapers, but nothing compares to working for SPJ's The Working Press. I learned the meaning of teamwork and how to cope in a small newsroom setting with tight deadlines. I hope my future holds a job that allows me to be a leader and idea producer — not merely a spectator — in the photographic industry. |
