Poonam Whabi (East of 34th)

I was born and brought up in Dubai, U.A.E. I received my high school diploma from Indian High School, Dubai, before moving to San Francisco for a bachelor's degree in graphic design (San Francisco State University). During study at San Francisco State, I worked as a volunteer graphic designer at some non-profit organizations, and finally as the art director of the Golden Gate Xpress magazine at SFSU. In the future, I wish to work as a magazine designer or a regular graphic designer at a non-profit, or a company that works for a cause. I have recently graduated from SFSU in December 2003.
